New Advanced Shift mode has been added to control even more functions of TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2.

Since TRAKTOR series controller functions are built in, the TRAKTOR series main functions can be quickly and accuratelyoperated without using an external controller. The performance operation areas (EFFECT, LOOP, HOT CUE, SAMPLER) are positioned on the left and right to match the TRAKTOR GUI, allowing you to operate the DJM-T1 seamlessly. Browsing (track selection) as well as player function controls such as playback and pause are located at the top of the mixer, enabling a smooth operating flow from track selection to mixing. Each button lights up in sync with TRAKTOR, enabling you to grasp the software operation status on the mixer without looking at the PC screen. This mode makes it possible to assign up to three different function operations for each button and knob on the mixer. Including support for the 75* new functions in this update, the DJM-T1 enables operation of 220* different TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2 functions.

Main functions enabled in TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2 via this update

■ Six more effect operations In addition to TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2 effects assigned to FX1 and FX2, the new firmware will allow six more effects assigned to FX3 and FX4 to be controlled, now for a maximum of 12 effects that can be controlled using the buttons and knobs on the DJM-T1.

■ Added the ability to add and play four additional Hot Cue points for both deck A and deck B The ability to add and play four additional Hot Cue points (preset locations that you can jump to instantly) was added for both decks A and B. This makes for a total of eight possible Hot Cue points on both decks A and B in TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2.

■ Added the ability to input grid information and adjust grid location Input your own grid information to perform TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2 functions such as Sync, Quantize, and Snap* more accurately.

■ Added the ability to adjust volume and change modes for each sampler slot You can now adjust the volumes and switch between One Shot and Loop modes for each sampler slot where you cut out parts of tracks to use as samples.

■ Other newly available functions

Snap: Automatically makes adjustments when a Cue or Loop setting is off-beat. Enables you to match your Cue and Loop to the beat.

Compatible with TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2 DJ performance

The DJM-T1 is equipped with an internal USB soundcard, and is a TRAKTOR SCRATCH CERTIFIED DJ mixer authorized by Native Instruments for connection and use with TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2 software. TRAKTOR SCRATCH 2 scratching functions can be controlled by connecting a single USB cable to a PC and using the included CONTROL CD* or VINYL*, with no need for an external soundcard. TRAKTOR SCRATCH DUO 2 software is included to let you enjoy DJing from the first day of purchase.

Equipped with high performance faders enhancingdurability and operability

New channel faders and crossfader are smoother and more durable thanever before, thanks to two metal shafts supporting the fader knobs from each side. The fader is positioned to the side, minimizing damage from liquid or dust that can get inside. The DJM-T1 crossfader has an exclusive Pioneer magnetic construction that provides extreme durability, and can be used more than 10 million times, achieving nearly three times more durability compared to previous models (e.g., the DJM-800). The operational load, fader curve and cut lag can also be adjusted to your preference.

High sound quality technology that realizes a clear and powerful DJ sound

The DJM-T1 inherits all of the high sound quality design features expected from Pioneer's industry leading DJM mixers. Analog and digital circuitry are separated, while analogue inputs are converted to digital over the shortest distance possible to reduce unwanted noise. The internal soundcard receives input from a PC as a digital signal, with no loss of sound quality. And the 24-bit D/A converter ensures sound clarity for not only the master output, but the booth output too.

A variety of audio output paths to suit any purpose

The onboard USB soundcard eliminates the need for an external soundcard, so DJs canconnect the mixer straight to a computer with a single USB cable. The configuration utility software installed to your PC can be used to select 6 audio output points from the USB port to your PC, enabling a variety of sound production to meet your needs such as DJing, track recording or creation.* The TRAKTOR SCRATCH DUO 2 software included will allow youto easily record your performance from these output points, applying Effect, Loop, etc. to add original arrangements.
